"An activity becomes creative when the doer cares about doing it right, or doing it better" - John Updike
Yeah, but what is he going to make? I remember the time my two boys went into my sewing room and cut a square right in the middle of a piece of beautiful, expensive velvet. They sewed it up into a little bag to store something and then showed me their work. They were so proud of what they did all by themselves that I couldn't say a thing about the ruined piece of velvet. You know, as long as he is going to make YOU something scrumpous, it should be okay. ;).
